About Me

My name is Wowie Mayer.  I grew up in North Carolina playing junior tennis and chasing girls.  I also always had a fascination with art, and took classes to learn to write and draw the things I felt about life.

I have been writing since age eleven.  After reading and studying on my own throughout middle school and high school, I attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington to study creative writing.

I have learned a lot in my travels, and if I know one thing, it's that everybody has a unique story.  This is my attempt to tell mine.
